How to play

A signal is hidden in one country. Call a country by tapping it on the globe or searching for it. Each call returns a reading of how far it is from the target: blue is far, and the hotter the colour, the closer you are. A diamond means the target shares a border with your call. Find it in as few calls, and as little time, as you can.

Every player hunts the same country in the daily mission, which changes at midnight US Eastern time. Practice missions are unlimited and unranked.

Playing on the web and on iPhone

Sign in with the same Google account (or, in the iPhone app, Apple) to use one callsign, streak and history on orbituplink.com and your iPhone. In the app, sign-in is in Operator, then Settings.

No sound on iPhone

Game sounds follow your iPhone’s ring/silent switch. Switch to ring, or turn on Play in silent mode in Settings.

Deleting your data

In the iPhone app: Operator, then Settings, then Delete my data. On the website: the delete option in Settings. Or email us and we’ll do it for you. See the Privacy Policy for more.
